My Introduction to the Dissidents

When I attempted to share my discovery with the major AIDS organizations, and eventually the White House, to my surprise, no one wanted to know about it..  AmFAR never replied to me,  GMHC wasn't interested, but sent me to ActUp.  ActUp wasn't really interested either but referred me to their Treatment Activist Group, who showed no interest either, but told me about a group called HEAL (Heal Education AIDS Liaison) who might be.

Unlike the pretty white boys (and concerned women) of ActUp whose meetings reminded me of Nazi rallies, the group at HEAL was a lot less polished and a lot more ethnicly mixed.  And unlike the ActUp rallies that filled the main hall, their meeting had a more clandestine feeling.  They were very interested in my discovery, and I was very interested in them.  What I saw were about 40 men and women of all colors and various states of health, but mostly healthy, who were sharing their experiences.

Some believed herbal therapies were responsible for their good health.  Others credited various mushrooms or other home remedies, enemas, etc. for their ability to remain healthy with HIV.  The common thread with all of them, however, was that they had fired their doctors and rejected the medical intervention.  They were not only interested in my immune-boosting exercise, but also in something else I had just found.

After learning that I was HIV-positive and believing my discovery, which was (and still is) a common thread in all the holistic clinics throughout the world which were successfully curing cancer, I wanted to find people, other than my handful of friends, who might have also used this technique successfully with HIV/AIDS.  I put a little advertisement on the back page of the Village Voice.  I could only afford to run it for a couple of weeks and didn't get the response I was looking for.

I got only one response to the ad and it wasn't from someone who had used this technique to cure HIV/AIDS.  It was a report by a couple of microbiologists (a professor at a local community college and his wife) who had done no original research, but merely evaluated everything that been published on the subject during the first seven years of the epidemic WITH SCIENTIFIC SCRUTINY, and came to the conclusion that this was not an infectious, fatal syndrome caused by a virus and spread through sex and needle sharing, as we were being told, but a multifactorial lifestyle disease that was fully reversible.

Then I learned that there were many people, highly intelligent and respected in their fields, which included medicine, the sciences, law, religion, the humanities, education and journalism, who questioned the viral theory of AIDS, and that these people were frequently being silenced and shunned.  These are the AIDS dissidents, and I found myself to be one them.

The denialists are just WRONG.  See http://www.aegis.org/topics/mdelaney.html#1#1
for a summary of the evidence that HIV is the cause of AIDS, for links to more detailed discussions.

HIV, AIDS, and the Distortion of Science

In the past year, there has been a noisy resurgence of claims that HIV does not cause AIDS and that AIDS is not contagious. Proponents of this view insist that AIDS is caused by personal behavior, notably drug abuse, or by the drugs used to treat AIDS. This view was first stated back in 1987 by Peter Duesberg, a professor of molecular biology at the University of California, Berkeley, who today is viewed as the leader of the "HIV denialist" movement.* Duesberg's claims have been debated and refuted repeatedly in scientific journals and even by a special panel assembled by the National Academy of Sciences.

I choose not to follow the group mentality. This HIV/AIDS is a scam.

It's not just "HIV/AIDS" that is a scam.  This is just the tip of the medical iceberg.  Most of "medical science" is really pseudoscience and unproven theory that just doesn't work.  For people who question how ALL the doctors (groupthink) can be wrong, I say: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.

The book you should write is of your experience including of HEAL and ACT UP. Great to see your diary. I think I'll put one up to announce when it has been ten years with a HIV voodoo hex and no meds -- only four more years of being lazy. Best, Robin

Dr. Robert N Wilner attempted to expose the corruption behind the meaning of AIDS and the hype sponsored by the drug companies back in the early 80's, only to be found dead with no investigation into his death.

I have to agree with some of his views and know many doctors that question the taught message regarding AIDS. But, due to the facts and the threats from CDC about exposing the corruption to patients would cost them federal funding and be blacked balled for life.

AIDS is simply a marketing tool..

Look at this way, people with cancer develope immune defiencies over time, do they have AIDS too?

No...

Nowhere will you find the cause of death on a death certifcate as AIDS, rather HIV-related illness.

Just a thought after being poz since 82...still alive..doing well...most days...

BLA BLA BLA enough finger pointing. I suppose i must be one of the sheep being led to the slaughter. Being diagnoised HIV+ Feb 2004 after the "month from hell flu" as i like to call it. CD 4 count of 340 and Viral load 800,000,000 then a month later introduced to a few opertunistic illness's, was then started on the Meds sure my CD 4 went to 940 and viral load undetectable in a year. And yes the livers shot but my unhealthy life stye before, started all that in motion. Maybe I've missed something but I'm not hearin a whole hell of alot of what excatly you've done to stay healthy except nothing. Am I to beleive it's mind over matter. If i say HIV dosen't cause AIDs then my HIV would never become AID's. Well as a gay adult male thats been telling himself since early childhood that i wasn't molested, i wasn't gay, dad wasn't a drunk, the sky's are always blue and it never rains in California then been there done that and it never worked. I do beleive that Diet has everything to do with all humanity's illness's and anything processed , packaged or doesn't spoil in three days are most likely the major factor in health but realisticly you on earth has that luxury. All I'm asking for is, is just beleiving your answer? I hope not.
thanks for your response

I agree with you that diet is important and that you've missed something.  You've missed the facts we're not being told in the mainstream media:

"HIV" is not the cause of AIDS.
There is no test for "HIV."
T-cells are not a measure of health.
Viral load is a load of crap.
No drug has ever been shown to extend or improve the lives of people with "HIV."
The drugs prescribed to treat "HIV" are the most toxic drugs ever experimented with on humans and bring on the symptoms that are blamed on the virus.
All AIDS research and treatments are based on an invalid theory.
We have been lied to.

When you truly understand all the above you will no longer believe in the virus or the doctors who monitor and treat it.  Understanding that you don't have a fatal, infectious disease is part of what it takes to stay well, but to truly enjoy truly radiant health and defy the aging process, you have to understand health too.

In 1992, I started a cable TV series in NYC, Accent on Wellness, to expose the AIDS lies and other medical myths, like vaccines, and to explore healthy alternatives we could live with.  The show literally took on a life of its own and became more and more about Natural Hygiene.  It spawned a support group that is still meeting weekly and gave birth to what I believe to be the best raw food restaurant in the world -- Bonobo's in Manhattan.

As to what I do to stay healthy, it's pretty simple.  I eat a lot of fresh (organic when possible) raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds and spend at least five minutes a day on my rebounder, plus I stay active with bicycling and swimming in the ocean and soaking up sun on the beach whenever I can.  I don't go to doctors.  I don't take medicines.  If I had your health history, I would probably go 100% raw and get a lot more rebound exercise.  (For more on rebounding see http://sobehealthy.com.)  If you
